More than just a great candidate, however, we believe that Amy will be a great Senator once elected. We find her proposals for energy independence refreshing and enlightened, and, as members of a younger generation, we share her concern about our ever-increasing budget deficit. Finally, Klobuchar's candidacy is one of the few chances we have to elect a woman to the United States Senate this year. Not only that, but Minnesota has never elected a woman to this high office. MN Publius does not believe in endorsing candidates on the basis of their gender, but it is a nice bonus in this case.Caucus tonight, and support your candidate of choice. Hopefully you agree with me and others that Amy is our best hope to promote Minnesota values in Washington.
