Moussaoui Tells All

Had we known, 9/11 may not have happened:

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia (CNN) -- Al Qaeda conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui told a stunned courtroom Monday that he and would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid were supposed to hijack a fifth plane on September 11, 2001, and crash it into the White House.

This is the first I have heard of Richard "The Show Bomber" Reid's involvement, but it isn't a big surprise.

As each day passes, more and more is found out about the plot, the intricacies behind it, and the opportunities that were available to prevent it. I just wish someone would have listened to Rowley, but hindsight is always 20/20. If you haven't read it lately, read her memo (edited version) to FBI Director Robert Mueller dated May 21, 2002. It is pretty compelling.
