Another Record

The Moderate Voice points us to the continued decline in support of this President, via the Right's favorite pollster:
Forty percent (40%) of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That matches the lowest level ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports. The slight increase in Approval seen last weekend was clearly nothing more than statistical noise.
This election year will be crucial in determining the direction of the state and the country. Traditionally, loyal Republicans (ie, Mark '97% voting record with the President' Kennedy) will be using every opportunity they can find to distance themselves from this administration. Issues like Immigration and ANWR will be used to distract us from thinking they are the puppets we know them to be. Watch as these wedge issues are thrust into the news cycle, to give these folks an opportunity to mask who they really are. It will be our job to make sure the electorate realizes that they are nothing more then an extension of this failed administration.
