So Andy's out. Unless there is some mystery we don't know about, this isn't a really big deal. Presidents run through Staff Chiefs often. Reagan had a few, PaPa Bush had three, I think, during his one term, Clinton had several.
If a troubled and dogged Rove, or a trigger happy Cheney resigned, then we would have some breaking news. This is nothing more then a guy needing a break, after staving off an awkward presidency for five+ years, and preparing for his career post Bush.
