I'm new to this Blog thing, but felt it necessary to enter the fray.

Seems that the marketing machine of the Right continues to deceive and mislead and there are those of us teetering in the middle who may like what we hear, but discouraged with the process.

Homeland Security, introduced by the Democratic VP candidate from 2000 was slaughtered to the point that even Sen. Lieberman was scratching his head. Talk about the Right taking advantage of a situation to pad the pocket book of Texans and more big businesses with these seven "special-interest" provisions.

Of course, the left will forget about this undermining of the system and not even 'remember' the pledge from the House Speaker to revisit some of those 'provisions' in the next session.

Let's wait an see.
